(엘 자디다, 모로코 2015년 12월 14일 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) HNA Group의 전략적 관광사업 복합체인 HNA Tourism Group ("HNA Tourism")이 이달 12일 모로코 엘 자디다에서 열린 월드 트래블 어워즈(World Travel Awards, WTA) 그랜드 파이널에서 세계 최고의 통합 관광사업 그룹으로 선정됐다. 이로써 HNA Tourism은 WTA를 수상한 최초의 중국 기업이자, 중국, 아시아 및 세계 부문에서 WTA를 수상하는 영광을 안은 유일한 기업이 됐다.

WTA 그랜드 파이널에서 발표된 수상자들은 전 세계 180개가 넘는 국가 및 지역에서 활약하는 관광산업 내부자들로 구성된 심사위원회에 의해 선정됐다. HNA Tourism 외에 100개가 넘는 주요 관광 업체들이 후보에 올랐으며, 이날 시상식에 참석했다.

국제 관광산업에서 가장 권위있는 상인 월드 트래블 어워즈는 월 스트리트 저널에서 ‘여행업계의 아카데미상’으로 불리기도 했다. 매년 여행 부문에 종사하는 수많은 업체들이 심사위원회의 엄격한 심사와 조사를 통해 수상자로 선정된다.

EL JADIDA, Morocco, Dec. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- HNA Tourism Group ("HNA Tourism"), the strategic tourism business conglomerate of HNA Group, has been crowned as the World's Leading Integrated Tourism Group at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final hosted in El Jadida, Morocco on December 12, 2015. In doing so, HNA Tourism becomes the first ever Chinese company to receive the award and is the only company to hold the award at all three levels, China, Asia and the World.

Award Winners announced at the Grand Final were selected by a judging committee made up of tourism industry insiders from more than 180 countries and regions around the world. In addition to HNA Tourism, more than 100 other leading tourism companies were nominated and attended the event.

The World Travel Awards, the highest honor for the global tourism industry, have been hailed as "The Oscars of the Travel Industry" by The Wall Street Journal. Annually, a number of outstanding companies within the travel sector are recognized and awarded after strict review and examination by the judging committee.
