(서울=연합뉴스) 장동우 기자·정보경 인턴기자 = SBS TV 월화드라마 '낭만닥터 김사부'가 방송 8회 만에 전국 시청률 20%를 넘었습니다.
닐슨코리아에 따르면 지난달 29일 낭만닥터 김사부의 시청률은 전국 21.7%, 수도권 23.3%를 기록했습니다. 서울 지역 시청률은 25%에 육박했습니다.



이 드라마는 방송 5회 만에 15% 장벽을 넘더니 경쟁작들과 격차를 15% 포인트 이상 벌렸는데요.
SBS가 올해 상반기 내놓았던 의학드라마 '닥터스' 최고 시청률(21.3%) 기록도 넘어섰습니다.



이번 주 이야기는 병원 수술실에서 벌어진 인질극을 중심으로 펼쳐졌습니다.
또 부용주(한석규)가 자신을 비난하는 강동주(유연석)에게 "낭만 빼면 시체지, 또 내가"라고 말하며 자신의 철학도 보여줬는데요.

'Dr. Romantic' is steamrolling Korea's late night TV drama race.
The SBS medical show, now in its fourth week, dominated late night television last Tuesday, drawing in nearly a quarter of all TV viewers nationwide, according to Nielson Korea.



The series stars veteran actor Han Suk-kyu in the lead role of Boo Yong-joo, a famous but eccentric surgeon who one day moves to a small, rundown hospital in the countryside.
Together with two young and passionate doctors played by Seo Hyun-jin and Yoo Yeon-seok, Boo builds the remote hospital into a top institution with a reputation for its cutting-edge technology and integrity.



This weeks two episodes revolve around a hostage situation at the hospital.
Seo's Hyun-jin's character, Seo-jong, is held at knife point by a mysterious intruder, who has a certain axe to grind with a patient in surgery.
